Oh Mercy is by far the best film on US immigration issues that we have. It is beautifully crafted and deeply humanistic in its approach. Most importantly, it is deliberately short, and therefore accessible on a wide range of platforms to the huge audiences it is designed to reach. These local, regional, national, and global audiences are the ones we must have if we are to influence policy in any sustained or impactful way at this pivotal time in our nation’s history.
